Francesca Yabraian to Make Major Announcement at Century City Council Meeting

CENTURY, Fla. — Florida House District 1 candidate Francesca Yabraian is calling on residents, business owners, and members of the media from across Century and Escambia County to attend the upcoming Century City Council meeting, where she will make a major announcement concerning the future of civic participation, financial pressure on local families and businesses, and accountability in local government.

“I have spent time listening to the people of Century, and what I am hearing is serious,” Yabraian said. “Families and small businesses are being pushed to the limit. I have spoken with residents reporting water bills around $300 and electric bills reaching $1,000. For some people, this is no longer simply an affordability issue. It is becoming a matter of survivability.”

Yabraian said her announcement will address what she believes must happen next — not only in Century, but throughout Escambia County.

“This is bigger than one election, one candidate, or one community,” Yabraian said. “Win or lose, I intend to keep working on the problems the people have brought to me.”

Yabraian is encouraging residents who are concerned about utility costs, infrastructure, Hurricane Sally recovery, government accountability, and the future of their community to attend.

“I am asking Century to show up. I am asking Escambia County to pay attention. And I am asking the media to be there, because what I am announcing is about putting power back where it belongs — with the people.”
